Biography:
Career & Achievements: Andrew Foote has a diverse and non-typical career spanning management roles in manufacturing and service (pipe organ building) and public service, university lecturing and tutoring, private teaching and mentoring, and professional singing.
After achieving a successful national career as a classical and opera singer for 20 years, he changed direction in 2001 and commenced a new franchised retail store in the party hire and retail industry. Nominated as the official systems and training coordinator, he was subsequently approached to buy-out the entire franchise system by the franchisor.
He commenced his current role as Managing Director of the Party Plus franchise system in 2003. Since then he has overseen a system that was headed for failure transform into a thriving business model, holding majority market share within Perth and now boasting a successful and passionate team of franchisees.
Andrew maintains a portfolio career balancing his franchisor duties with ongoing commitments as a freelance professional singer and as a TEC Chairman.
He commenced as Chairman of TECR 224 and the inaugural TECP 1 in 2009.
Personal: Andrew was born in Melbourne but hopped the rabbit-proof fence to Perth when he left home aged 16. He worked full-time while paying his own way through private school, and studied Music and subsequently Business at university. He enjoys reading technical, philosophical and Christian literature, and is fascinated by the role of marketing in general and internet marketing in particular.
