Biography:
Career & Achievements: John Broons has over 30 years of general business experience - owning and operating businesses in the sawmilling industry, the domestic and commercial construction industry, the residential industrial and commercial property maintenance field. He has also exported trees to China and successfully created new business start ups. He currently owns and operates a fine wine wholesale business.
John was on the Board of Family Business Australia (the
Victorian Chapter). He has consulted to owners of family businesses
on induction, planning and succession issues.
Previously a TEC member, John started TECR 216 in 2007.
Education & Associations: John holds qualifications in the financial industry to PS 146 and is also qualified to Certificate IV in the field of Training where he has delivered seminars to the National Bank on communication.
Publications & Contributions: He has also written a Financial Processes and Procedures Manual for KPMG Management Consulting Division in Melbourne. John is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
