By 1997 there were 4700 sales consultants selling Pola products in Australia and New Zealand.

In 1995 she became the first Telstra Victorian Business Woman of the Year. Since selling her share of the Pola business back to the Japanese parent company, Marcia published a book High Heeled Success in 1998 and has consulted to a variety of businesses including an architectural firm, a Funds Management Group and a hotel management company.  She has also had Board roles with companies including those as diverse as PMP, the largest printing company in Australia, National Pharmacies, Tourism Victoria, The World Masters Games and Melbourne Storm.
