MEET TEC CHAIRS

Peter is an experienced MD and professional independent director with a keen interest in the art and development of management.  He has extensive experience in corporate, strategic, governance and operations across a wide range of industries including engineering, resources, investment banking, funds management, infrastructure and property. 

Peter has a successful track record with project start-ups, contract and commercial negotiations, financings and investment banking having been involved in a range of transactions in Australia and overseas, including debt and equity structuring, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. An engineer initially, Peter then moved into investment banking and strategic corporate advice with the AIDC before becoming General Manager Commercial at the Water Corporation that manages WA's water network with an annual capital works program of over $1 billion annually.

Peter is currently Chairman of a company that is pioneering the commercialisation of a new global seafood industry.  He has previously held directorships with an Australian energy infrastructure company, a private client funds management company, a sodium cyanide manufacturing joint venture, and investment company amongst other advisory boards. Peter has served on various committees including audit and risk management/governance and regulatory management.

Peter has a passion for helping managers and future leaders achieve their potential, having successfully mentored and developed many executives for many years.

Peter advises in strategic management advice in areas of corporate development, strategic business planning, business and personal risk, governance and mentoring.

Peter holds a Master of Business Administration degree, Bachelor of Engineering degree and Advanced Diploma in Investment and Finance
