2009/10 - SA Award Winning Chiefs

SA award winning business chiefs are finding solidarity with a little bit of TEC

It is lonely at the top for the chiefs of three of Adelaide's award-winning businesses.

But they are finding solidarity, advice and an open ear from each other and 180 other SA business leaders to help guide them and their businesses to future prosperity. Edible Blooms managing director Kelly Baker, Beerenberg managing director Anthony Paech and Solar Shop Australia chief executive Tony Thornton are all members of The Executive Connection (TEC), a global organisation to help business leaders get better results for their companies. All three said they had struggled with the isolation of leading their business, without having someone to bounce ideas off. But, through their involvement with TEC, they are being welcomed into a confidential environment and have peer support to succeed in their dreams.
