Happy, healthy staff mean a productive workplace. That is the prevailing attitude of most small to medium-sized companies in Victoria.

A recent survey by executive leadership group The Executive Connection found more than 78% of companies believed that employee fitness and health had a direct impact on the productivity and success of their business.

But consider the state of health of Victoria's workforce.

During the past year, 100,000 Victorian state government-funded health checks have revealed disturbing results.
